The cross country season is nearly upon us again. The dates for the races are listed below.
Please make a note of our race on the 11th January 2009. This takes a lot of organising and
though a few of us will be running, a lot of marshals will be required from the non-runners -
please keep this day free in your diaries.

We need a "catering manager" to do the organisation for the post race hospitality for WRR Town Park race. The post is open to both men and women – equal opportunities and all that. In fact, the women have done it now for three years - so come on all male club members - show us what creative culinary delights you can serve on a very tight budget for a 100 or
so hungry runners and if that's a bit daunting then we'll be more than happy with the usual selection of sandwiches and tea/coffee.

further information about what is required. The race day will be Sunday 11th in January 2009.
Because it is getting dark at nights, the winter run routes will start from Tuesday 23rd
September. They are the same routes as for last year – although suggestions for alternative
routes will be welcomed but please remember that the route has to be well lit throughout.
