- Start on the entrance road to Woolston Linear Park, next to and with your back to the Rangers Hut.
- Run down the entrance road and turn Left onto Hillock Lane.
- Follow Hillock Lane to the traffic island with the shops and Church opposite and turn Left into Long Barn Lane.
- Just before you reach the bollard at the end of Long Barn Lane, turn Left into the park.
- Pass through the trees and remain on the obvious path with the two children?s play areas on the right, as you reach the tree line on your right continue on with the playing field to your the left.
- Follow the path as it bends to the right taking you out onto Grosvenor Grange, turn Left then Left again almost immediately back into the park.
- Continue on this footpath, passing the wooden footbridge on your left. After approx. 100m take the obvious footpath on the Right and continue through the trees until you come out onto Whitchurch Close.
- Continue the length of Whitchurch Close, and at the end turn Left onto Green Lane.
- Follow Green Lane as it bends to the left passing the Business Centre and School.
- Immediately after the School, take the second path on the Left back into the park.
- Follow this path until you reach the obvious footpath on the Right signposted ?Rangers Hut?, follow this and once you reach the Rangers Hut you have completed the first lap.
- The second lap is identical until you reach the footpath signposted ?Rangers Hut?, this time do not turn right, continue on passing the wooden footbridge on the left and the bandstand on the right.
- Approx 250m after the bandstand take the footpath on the right, do not continue out of the park, NB this is a tight almost hairpin turn.
- Continue on this footpath as it bends left through the trees and comes out to playing fields on both sides. Continue directly on and follow the footpath as it bends to the right just before the children?s play area.
- Before reaching the houses, take the last footpath through the meadow area grass area and follow it as it bends round to the Right.
- At the obvious break in the trees move onto the playing field and continue on in the same direction following the tree line as it bends 90 degrees to the left.
- The finish is on the apex of the curve in the trees approx. 100m short of the all weather sports pitch.
